Dear TJJ Bus 5 Parents:
I hope this email finds you doing well.
Everything has been going great here in Israel.
We have been having a great time up north in the Galil (the Galilee). We hiked through many different rivers and streams, swam in the Kinneret, and rafted on the Jordan River.
On our tours we have been learning about the importance of water in Israel and how the whole country is connected over this important resource. We also have been learning about Israel’s borders and about the people who keep them safe.
In addition, we made our way to some important spiritual landmarks here in the North. We visited the grave of Rambam (Maimonides, the Holy city of Tzfat and prayed atop mountain tops.
We are having an amazing time so far, and we are all excited to continue traveling and learning about Northern Israel next week before we return to the center of the country.
