The Anne Samson Jerusalem Journey
Week 4- Jerusalem: There and back again

Hello TJJ Bus 5 Parents,

We had a jam-packed week!

We started our week on a more somber note with a visit to Yad Vashem (Holocaust Museum) and Har Herzl (Israel military cemetery). We learned about the many sacrifices the Jewish people have had to make, and that we play an important role moving forward.

Afterwards, we made our way to Tel Aviv, where we had experienced different than the average tourist. We saw the uniqueness of expression on our graffiti your, the drive for creation at the innovation center and the power of perseverance at Dialogue with Silence.

Then we were off to the South of Israel. We saw the natural springs of Ein Gedi, floated in the dead sea, spent time with the Bedouins (and got to ride camels!), and learned the story of Masada.

We then continued down south to Eilat.

Eilat was a blast! We started with a sunrise hike up Mount Tzfachot, but we weren’t tired. We headed to water sports, a cruise and snorkeling. After a quick break, we headed to the boardwalk for a night on the town.

Today we head back to Jerusalem for our last Shabbos.

We have a few more amazing days and we will certainly make the most of all the time we have left!

Have a great Shabbos!
