Shalom Everyone,
Today, Sunday, we made the loooong drive from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv down to Eilat. On the way we made a special stop at Machtesh. The Machtesh is a natural formed crater unique to Israel’s Negev Desert. At the Machtesh we not only enjoyed the spectacular views but even took the opportunity to rappel down its side!!
After enjoying our stops in Sde Boker and at the Machtesh we continued on our way to Eilat. We stopped by Yotvata which is one of Israel’s most famous productions companies known for their famous “shoko bisakit” (chocolate milk in a bag). Once we checked into our hotel we took to the boardwalk for some of the best burgers in Israel, Burgers Bar!!!! Everyone was ready to rest up at the hotel after a long day of traveling and excitement! Not to mention to have some strength to go hiking at 5AM, banana boating, and tubing tomorrow!
