Shalom TJJ Bus 5 Parents,
On Thursday the Bus 5 Family began our week at the kibbutz of Misgav Am where we learned about the security of the Lebanese border from a self proclaimed Zionist and “Jewish Redneck” named Aryeh Ben Yaakov (originally from Cleveland, Ohio!). From there we enjoyed a morning water hike in Nachal Hatsbani followed by an amazing “sup” (canoo) journey down the Jordan river. Once we were through splashing and swimming in the Jordan we enjoyed the calm cool water as we drifted down stream on a hot day. We ended off the day with a beautiful breeze filled dinner at a Brazilian restaurant called “El Ranchos”. Great memories and as always a really great time together.
