Shalom TJJ Bus 5 Family,

We are closing off an incredible first week together! Tomorrow night we will be celebrating our first Shabbat together. Should be very memorable filled with inspiring moments.

Today we started off our day taking on Nachal Amud. It was a two hour hike with a challenging uphill climb up to end. After working up an appetite we went to Kibbutz Matzuva for an all you can eat “make your own pizza” lunch. I am still full as I write this e-mail at 2am.

We then traveled to the city of Acco and learnt about the history that took place with the Lechi pre-State of Israel.

The night was capped off with learning sessions on the topic of Shabbat and the rich meaning behind the special day.
