Shalom Everyone,

Hard to believe we are only two days into the program as it has felt like so much more. Today we began our exploration of the North discovering the Holy City of Tzfat. We went to various Ancient Synagogues, Tzfat Candle factory, Artist Colony, and met an artist named Avraham Leventhal and had a chance to learn about his world renown Kabbalah art.

After Tzfat we went to the Otzar Stam center where learnt about Sifrei Torah, Mezuzot, and Tefillin. We even got to learn how to write Hebrew letters that are found in those various Jewish centerpieces.

The night ended with our opening night educational sessions as well as a fun bingo night revealing various hidden facts about everyone on the bus.
