Shalom TJJ Bus 5 Family,
Hope everyone is doing well. What an incredible first day already. Our flight landed 30 minutes early, we went through passport control, baggage claim, and customs all in an hour. Once we came together as a group we sat down and had some lunch with bagels and muffins from Holy Bagel Restaurant. We then packed up our bus in record timing (20 minutes) and headed to the north of Israel. On our way up north we stopped by “Nachal Shofet” and had an ice breaker to get to know each other. We then continued on our way to Karei Deshe (KD), our first location this summer. When we got to KD we had a beautiful dinner with a whole world of sides and main dishes and relaxed a bit. Following dinner we came together in our program room for a more upbeat and fun “Orientation Bash” with a multimedia presentation going through protocols, some sweets, and staff introductions provided with team games. It was a great way to kick off the summer and a lot of fun!
We head to Tzfat tomorrow to explore the ancient and mystical city.
