Shalom TJJ Bus 5 Family,
Today, on Sunday, the NCSY TJJ NJ Bus 5 began our week by enjoying a hike through the beautiful Banyas . Next we traveled to the kibbutz of Misgav Am where we learned about the security of the Lebanese border from a self proclaimed Zionist and “Jewish Redneck” Arieh Amit (originally from Cleveland, Ohio!!). From there we followed by an amazing raft journey down the Jordan river. There really is nothing better than enjoying calm cool water as we drifted down stream on a hot day.
The night ended with sessions that focused on identifying our values and what is important to us.
As we close off the North tomorrow we are going out in a bang with tons of water activities and a beautiful dinner at a Brazilian Meat restaurant.
