Shalom TJJ Bus 5 Family,
It is hard to believe that the free weekend is already here. We only have one more week left in the summer! Time is flying by.
Today we finally arrived in our kick awaited destination: Jerusalem. After two weeks of yearning, we made it! We started the day on a somber note, beginning at Yad Vashem learning about the atrocities of the Holocaust. After such a meaningful experience, we went to the Tayelet in Talpiot to look over the stunning and introduced what Jerusalem is all about. After framing this magnificat city we reached the moment we were waiting for: our first visit to the Kotel. We sang and danced on our way, overwhelmed with excitement to finally feel like we’re home. We can’t wait for next week when we explore the holy city and connect to it.
