Shalom TJJ Bus 5 Family,
We had a very powerful day today. We began in the holy city of Chevron and visited our forefathers and mothers. I spoke to the group and talked about the significance of the location and how important it is for us to keep our connection to Chevron and our roots. Following we went to Kfar Etzion and watched the very innovative and emotional film about the story of the area. I am not gonna lie- I personally was in tears as were many other staff and TJJers. We then continued our time in the Gush and went to the famous zip line spanning between two hill tops. It was exhilarating and absolutely breathtaking. To end of the day we had the special opportunity to go to Ruti’s home (our tour guide) in Efrat. At her house we had a special program where we learnt about the special Mitzvah of separating the Challah tithe. We all got or chance to make our own Challah and will be able to save it for Shabbat!
Hard to believe that Shabbat is already around the corner.
