Shalom TJJ Bus 5 Family!
Great to be back! Everyone had a very restful and enjoyable free weekend and got back in record time. Our bus was the first out of Ramat Rachel on Sunday and Tel Aviv. Thank you all for helping us work out the logistics and we appreciate all efforts made in the process. Thank You!
Sunday started off with a nice fun tour of a gap year program’s campus called Machon Mayan. The program was for the girls and simultaneously the guys played sports and chilled out with some Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. Following we went to the Air Force Museum and had the opportunity to actually sit on one of the planes used in the famous Entebbe rescue mission. It was quite hot outside but everyone pushed through and learned about Israel’s incredible developments in flight navigation and combat since it’s beginning. At night we arrived in our new location for the next two days (Kibbutz Kramim) and closed the night with dinner, night sessions, and a really fun and zany “Minute To Win It” competition.
Today we kicked off the morning with an exhilarating paintball battle. I personally was covered from head to toe in paint but I would do it all over again just to see how much fun everyone had. We then continued the thrill and went to a place called “IJump” which is a place that has the walls and floors covered in trampolines. To close off the day we went to the hands on Science Museum and then to the biggest mall in the Middle East (Grand Canyon Mall) for a scavenger hunt, free time and shopping, and dinner in the food court. It was a really incredible day with a lot of fun and exciting moments and now we are all zonked.
Tomorrow we head to the Bedouin tent experience with camel riding, musical bonfire, and meditation in the desert!
Best,
Michael Kahn
