Dear parents,
Hello again from Israel. We have been really busy enjoying and touring throughout the amazing land. On Friday we visited the ancient city of Pikin where we met the last surviving member of a group that have lived there from the time of the second temple! We then settled in for our second shabbat together. After an amazing kabalat shabbat together, where we all welcomed shabbat together with amazing singing and dancing, we ate our shabbat meal and sent the teens to get a restful night. The next morning we had some classes and food and some relaxing shabbat time. We finished shabbat while watching the sunset and some amazing words about how we never know what our actions might bring. After shabbat we were back to our regular schedule with rappelling and hiking on the cliffs of keshet. We then made our way to the old city of Jerusalem where we went through the chizkiyahu aqueduct, and toured the ancient city and were able to see the Kotel and say a small prayer.
