Dear parents,
Continuing on your children’s journey to Jerusalem we have been exploring the north of Israel. We saw the borders of both Lebanon and Syria, while learning about the way Israel is protected by their bases. On Tuesday we woke up early to tackle the Zavitan hike and 5 hours later we were able to say we did it. The site was beautiful from the top of the mountain and everyone was able to see how amazing the land of Israel is. Yesterday we hiked some more and made chocolate at the famous De Karina chocolate factory. At the end of the day we heard from Elaine Hoter, about how to deal with tragedy as she told the story of the loss of her son in a terrorist attack.
We continue to learn new things while enjoying what the land of Israel has to offer.
